I'm playing through xbox cloud gaming and every time i reopen the game i can only make a new save

Same issue for me too, had to reload the game due to other bugs and now the only option is to start from the beginning again

Hi, as we're trying to reproduce this, could you please confirm that:

other games played in this way save normally
you receive no error messages
your cloud saving option is enabled

Not sure if this will help or not but some info from my side.
When I load up the game on Cloud Play - PC using Game Pass - the only option in the main menu is to Start a New Game.

However I loaded the game up on my Xbox later and it synced with the cloud and gave me the option to Continue.

So i think possibly the saves are working but the Cloud Play client isn’t detecting them correctly?

Not sure if this is the same for Lucamar. I’m playing in the U.K.

Same thing has been happening to me. It sucks. If ya wanna play the game gotta do it all in 1 session.
A couple times I've been able to launch via cloud and it'll say 'continue' but not often.

Hi, as we're investigating this issue, any additional information could help us greatly. Did you, for example, experience any in-game crashes? How long did you progress in-game, etc.? It would be especially helpful if anyone could take a short video that shows the issue. Thank you!

i tried to record a video

it didnt work so i will try to explain

it started out normal until i unlocked the upstairs of the first house

#

i quit out and there was only the option to start new game

#

when i pressed start i got the normal cutscene but when i got into the game the doors were open and keys put in and the gears were put in in the shed

i got to the house and the 2 out of the 4 keys were in the locks

#

i got the crowbar from inside the house went upstairs and got the final 2 peices but when i went to the picture there was only 1 peice there even though the other pieces were not in there spot

then the colors went weird like if it was corrupted

i exited out and pressed start game and it did the same thing and when i went to get the scissors again because they were not in my inventory and i went up there and they were gone and because i couldnt get the battery i got softlocked

Hey @solemn nimbus, your response has been extremely helpful. Could you please try playing the game from the start, finish the tutorial and exit? Then go back and let us know if you now have the option to continue.

I tried to finish till second cut and exited… now it’s showing continue button on gamepass. Previously it was just showing new game

earlier today though i was playing through the museum right after the bakery and i quit and when i went back it said to start new game

could you possibly send me a save file for right after the bakery i have gotten there like 5 diffrent times and i really dont want to play through it again

Hello, the same problem is happening to me. Game from Brazil, by cloud gaming on PC. I've played until the 2nd act, but it doesn't save alone. I realized that it only saves if I go back to the main menu, and after exiting the game. But sometimes the game crashes and closes by itself, after that it loses all progress and has to start a new game

The only solution to this is to download it, same issue here, cloud gaming won't save unfortunately
