The cat in the bakery can sometimes softlock the game by not giving the button after giving him a treat. I interacted with him before I even opened the fridge and I think that's what caused the button to disappear. If this happens to you then you have to do new game. The picture doesn't show much but it shows that the cat has no button and I didn't have the button from him yet.
