I have no clue if anyone else has encountered this issue but from the moment I started a new game my CPU usage just spiked. This causes consistent lagging issues throughout the game

OS: Windows 10
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (did not struggle with all previous titles)
RAM: 64GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (did not struggle with all previous titles)
Graphics: Very High (does not seem to change CPU load for me whether I change it or not)

Game starts pushing CPU starting from the "mirror" cutscene
