  1. I hope I can start with a fully populated map so I can create subtractively.
  2. I hope the option to use the 3rd mouse button or click-and-hold for a few seconds will allow me to create many items side-by-side to create floors or walls in batch, for example, without wearing out my mouse buttons.
  3. Would like to be able to select some default lighting outside, such as the large lights seen in the corners of some maps... spotlights, maybe, headlights, ambient light. It's sad that daytime does not exist, by the way.
  4. More important to me, I hope there is a 'walk mode', where the player can run around as a generic character (the best standard character would be 'leader' or 'crow' for mobility). If there is a 'walk mode', I hope I can always walk at a higher speed. I like to walk and run about 2.5x faster when creating. I do not move mods, but I create a lot of levels from other games.

Really appreciate your reading. Thank you.

what exactly do you mean by "I hope I can start with a fully populated map so I can create subtractively"?

For example, there is a floor and ceiling on the whole map, maybe stairs to each level and walls, and then the player deletes entities to create the map.

#

Not to get carried away, but any kind of 'random spawners' for a closed room would be a pretty advanced tool that would be extremely nice. For example "spawn bathroom set" or "spawn bedroom set".

#

But I mainly wanted to mention that having a map fully populated with floors (or some way of creating floors in bulk) would be very useful. Thank you.

# tidal trout That sounds like it'd take longer

It's like a base coat. It can't take longer to have a bulk adding feature. For a small map, creating additively would take less time; for a large map, creating subtractively would take less time.
