Hey folks, HN2 releases early access on <t:1669917600> and releases for everyone on <t:1670310000> (No time confirmed for full launch) . Hope everyone will have a great time exploring the game. Before the early access build goes live I just wanted to post some bugs here just for the TB's sake. I will be updating this list as I go so if you have any bugs just send me a direct message or post here so I can edit the list. I will only be reporting bugs for Hello Neighbor 2 Demo and Hello Neighbor 2 Playtest as in my opinion, the older previews would not make sense to make bug reports for. I will do as many bugs as I can before hitting the character limit. Most important ones will go in the list. One more thing: I will be making single bug reports for the full game and all three of the downloadable content packs starting Thursday and will update ASAP after patches roll out. See you Thursday!

Hello Neighbor 2 Demo (Last updated: 11/30/22 ):

you can exit the tutorial barn without actually completing it by going inside the van and spamming or clicking (depending on luck) CTRL & SPACEBAR until clipped out of van, this can also work with the ceiling and basement door
peterson's ai has many freezes during a chase (might be a navigation problem?). thanks to @south hollow for showing in his video that this can also be depending on your fps cap. (lower fps cap = more freezing/stuttering | higher/unlimited fps cap = less freezing/stuttering)
it seems that peterson does not hear the sounds of the rubber chickens in the bathroom, fun idea but not working at all
when dropping scissors (i believe) and peterson goes to put them back, he gets clipped into the wall at the far end of the hallway and gets stuck behind the closet
the crowbar on the box in the tutorial barn is clipping through the box, half of it shows due to it sticking up
most of the time the police tape on the stairs is not visible, only the poles are
during the get up animation, you can move your camera leading to the character spinning
when holding space and running, the jump animation stutters for a second and then plays, kind of hard to describe
items get wider when player picks them up
game can crash sometimes if peterson sees you jump on the kitchen table
peterson can be stopped from entering his house if the player stands in front of the door he is trying to enter - either front or back door
when caught by peterson, there is a small chance the catch animation will completely stop about half way through, leading him to stand there
very long open door process with the peterson during chase, making it easier to outrun him
if peterson sees you while sleeping, he will rotate/tilt away from you making him look in the complete opposite way
peterson sometimes stuck around bed
bathroom door opens but not closes.

Hello Neighbor 2 Playtest (Last updated: 11/30/22):

when skipper is right behind you and you reach the unreachable zone for the navigation, sometimes the catch sound effect plays
there is a very rare possibility that gerda will go on the left side of the building and will get stuck on the small hill next to the garbage bin and can only be fixed by reloading your save.
the ai can get very easily confused by climbing up on a spot that is elevated surface such as a rail or a stack of boxes, sometimes you can hide behind a door, these are just a few examples. this was probably the most controversial bug in the playtest, a reason might be due to people thinking that the neural network was imported, when indeed it was not

Hello Neighbor 2 Playtest & Demo (Last updated: 11/30/22):

when a npc and the player are on opposite sides of the same door, it will start to spam the door animation and sound, sometimes leading to a respawn from being flung into the npc or leading to a "high fall"
if you try to hit an npc via throwing an object at them, no matter the force, it will most likely do nothing
if a reset of the game is performed with motion blur off, it will turn it back on with the setting showing as off
