while the level editor was built for lasting value, its hard to enjoy it now (at least for me) because you can only use it in custom game, and that school is coming back along with timezone issues so its harder to organize play sessions

while you could just make a public lobby, some people just don't ready up ever or get stuck on downloading maps slowing down the process of playing a lot
