you can fill them with the 21 400s but it's range is less, now it's on you if you want to continue with the 21 400 but I recommend getting a fleet of larger aircrafts with longer range, and suitably seat alot of pax. getting acs with a longer range require you to log onto the game less, and it's more profitable once you stop buying marketing more than 2 times a day for smaller range planes.

If you can take off frequently during the day, I would recommend the MC-21-400. 9 trips in Easy mode will help you a lot.
It always depends on how often you fly per day and how much time you can invest.
Shorter routes have two main advantages:
a) more income per km
b) more departures per day = faster training points.
It is you choice.
