I am thinking a220 since in my old playthrough they were profitable ie they game half a mill per flight

probably the best i guess. Its got 11500km range (stopover) good pax capacity less fuel consumption. Honestly youll have to look through the game's guides to get the answer youre looking for as im not any proffesional at this game

I went for a A340-200 - good range, increased pax and more importantly it suited my game play

I'm doing the same. 14800km range, solid pax, 10.5 hour flights

#

B737-8 is another, slightly more expensive option

I'd just use DC-9-10 (under $1m) and skip the A220 tier planes.
