⏺ Well that's embarrassing. Today's news — the entire Claude Code source (512K lines of TypeScript) leaked via a source map file left in
the npm package. A .map file pointed to an R2 bucket with 1,900 unobfuscated TypeScript files.
The ironic part: the codebase contains a system called "Undercover Mode" specifically designed to prevent internal info from
leaking... and it shipped in the .map file.
Some interesting unreleased features in there too — a Tamagotchi AI pet called BUDDY, a persistent assistant mode called KAIROS, and a
multi-agent coordinator system.
Classic packaging mistake. .npmignore didn't exclude the map files. Second time this year apparently.
Now go to work for real.
