I was gonna chain further to credential ssrf. because the api to edit images had a json field for the url of the mcp server. which it forwarded cookies so the agent could act on behalf of the user. so if I was able to have someone issue a request with my own listener as the URL I would have leaked their cookies despite them being http only. but unfortunately there was a header I had to set that wasn't listed in the access control allow headers header

@lofty marsh xss is generally categorized in 3 ways. Stored, Reflected, DOM. DOM XSS can either be stored or reflected. Reflected = you send some link with a payload and the server reflects it as the name would suggest, without necessarily storing it anywhere. then you have stored, so the server actually stores the payload and it doesn't need to be included in a param. then you have DOM xss which just means the XSS fires because of client side javascript processing the attacker controlled data and placing it in some executable location

As beforementioned the essence of academy is research. When compsci was in its early days noone knew how to write a for loop in asm. They researched how computers should work efficiently and boiled it down on paper. With those papers, us, non researchers took their efficient wording and normalized it and made it understandable to newcomers.

I dont see why publishing a paper would be useless as long as it defines, explains and solves a smaller problem. That makes it efficient for the next person so he doesnt have to do it, but can just continue the work/ use it.
