So someone else on Makerworld had this pretty cool Rameses light box already made, but mostly intended to be a static display. I bought a chain off Amazon, then laser cut a black acrylic piece to attach to the light box to give the chain something to attach to. Then I did some custom LED strip work with some 5V Amazon LED strip and used an Adafruit Sparkle Motion Mini to control it. Added a button to the back so I can cycle through a few effects easily. And yes, I wear it to all UNC home games and get a lot of comments on it! Sadly, these LEDs don’t photo or video for crap, but it looks REALLY nice in real life.
There’s a USBC power switch and a very thin battery stuck to the back.
