Mega Construx is more likely to use specialized parts and printed parts than Lego, which I think their sets benefit significantly from

my thoughts on gear progression:
helmets could be unlocked by doing challenges/ achievements, like 100 kills with the spartan laser unlocks the Base Gungnir helmet, etc (or by getting a certain amount of medals, giving a use to medals)
like each helmet is 100 of whatever weapon/ vehicle
then the next tier is a step up
obviously make it expensive in terms of objectives, to increase play time but im not a fan of "Season pass" progression.

Speaking of figures I only recently found all my old reach figures. The Spartans are okay but I really like the covenant ones. I have 5 elite figures, ones a red zealot (so a normal zealot), ones an orange officer (normal again), ones a green officer, ones a dark grey ultra and the last one is a normal spec ops.
Along with them was a grunt minor, a skirmisher, two brutes one minor and one major.

I'm more in favor of the Joyride version. You can pose in multiple stances, it's clunky and has a detachable knife. Whereas the Mattel version, based off of the Halo 2: Anniversary design, can really only be posted in two different stances. The quality of the model itself is great but it would greatly benefit from a repaint.

I have the BoomCo Magnum and it’s alright for what it is.
If you wanted to make it a viable cosplay prop you’d have to make some modifications, but I like it.
Also the Nerf Halo AR from what I’ve seen and heard is going to be $50.
So it’s probably not gonna be 100% to scale.
That said though, the Nerf Fortnite toys, at least the Assault Rifle, are in scale with their game counterparts. So Hasbro might have found a way to cut costs with the Halo Assault Rifle if it’s going to be in scale?

Oh the Nerf MA40 as a prop and a toy is objectively better.
The issue with BoomCo is their ammo. Rather than using foam darts they use weird plastic straw things.
It limits possibilities because BoomCo ammo can’t actually be stacked in a magazine like Nerf darts can.

That’s weird. Haven’t experienced that much if at all. Maybe since I don’t buy from other vendors much. Mostly get them online Amazon, Walmart, physical toys r us and the actual mega brands warehouse.
