Lots of people here do
Ye random reference I thought was cool on Pinterest
what looks better? Iām trying to learn how to draw in a cute/anime-ish style, so iām also taking tips on that
ik i canāt change it now but for future drawings
id personally say the one on the left! >.<
I know this is rough, but what is wrong with the colors/lighting in this sketch? I'm very new to colors and I'd appreciate any feedback
i think it just needs some more definition and maybe some more intense shadows in some areas
idk if your line art is on a separate layer, but if so, try hiding it and see if you can make out the same details.
i know u said your drawing is still rough, so idk how far along you are into drawing
i am assuming youāre going for something like this
(technically ur probably going for something way better than what i scribbled on but iām not rendering a whole thing lol)
oh wait i should probably @frozen merlin
Yooo! that looks so much better!
I see what you mean about the shadows, I guess I need to push my value range and be clearer with the forms.
Thanks a lot!
yay good luck rendering is hard
maded on GARTIC PHONE
New drawing dropped
what do i do make my art pop out more
shadows
oh...
I think, a sun ray behind the tallest pillar and some highlights?
Ima suggest more contrast invalues, you have a lot of midtones but no definitive shadows
Im using watercolour pencils but the colours look way different and how can i keep a smoother look
Any tips for drawing with mouse, this is my 5th time and Im wondering if theres something better than krita, also my shading is really inconsistent and other stuff also it aint done yet
Is complete now
Beautiful
Drawing vs reference (first time drawing on mouse in a bit, used kleki)
Hi I wanted some advice on this its my first time doing shading
anyone online
no
Hi
Attack titan, kinda buns looking
Not bad, quite good for your fist time actually, you didnāt use desaturated black & white for shadows which is great.
One thing I like to do (but that is just my personal preference) is to draw whatever I want in grayscale first, which in turn makes it easier to find the right values for your colors
But in general, if you have areas overlapping or creating shadows in another way, you can go way darker. Depending on the material and distance of the object, the edge of the shadows can vary, but for clothes, (unless they are thin and let light through) you almost always have sharp edges on your shadows

My greatest struggle in drawing is not knowing what makes what. And I know the tip of, āUse simple shapes first,ā, but I canāt even do that because I donāt know which shapes I should be using in what place. Worst part about it is that the image is clear and refined in my mind, but for some reason Iām unable to draw it⦠Iām usually fine if Iām tracing over something, but itās frustrating that Iāve never been able to draw anything of my own design simply because I donāt know how toā¦
starting out any tips?
the problem here is, your not using enough references. If you have trouble drawing something from your own design, then that means your not used to it yet. (If you struggle with a certain aspect such as the pose, look online for something similar and try to copy it - NOT TRACING IT - theres a difference). As for the sketch phase and drawing simple shapes, watch time lapses from pro/good artists. I can assure you they will help a ton.

Anyone know why putting on some sort of disturbance over pixelated drawings makes it look more realistic & is there a name for this technique?
The anatomy is insane but the perspective is a little off. Iām not good with perspective though so I would suggest asking someone else for help

Amazing drawing! If you're open to tips, I'd like to share one of mine. That is, covering up a different part of the face at a time, then seeing if the face looks right with the uncovered parts.(eg. The eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows). You could start with the eyes, and work down to the lips or the mouth. If it starts looking weird as you cover different parts, you'll know which part to redo. Hope this helps!

This is one of my recent artworks, need feedback on what I can improve on
im not a pro at digital drawings but i think its already really good
Can someone add me to help me get better at drawing on gartic phone
any tips for perfectionism?
I love your ambient lighting! You could work on the folds and overall shape of the fabric. Eyeballing the shape and structure of a piece of clothing can lead to it looking slightly off; like there's too much fabric in one specific spot. You can also account for how the cloth is wrapping or hugging a surface, and add some lines so it doesn't look flat. Other than that, I absolutely love the colours you put into this drawing!
