I’ve only been subscribed to DropOut for a few months so I’m just watching Dungeons & Dragons Queens. But this is just an appreciation post for how good it is.
The party gelled so well, everyone had their roles. But also their individual arks worked so well with their character. Drag queens are performers (of a different kind) but so many of those skills translated so well to a dnd party.
Brannon really did such an amazing job with simultaneously teaching new people about dnd but also leading them on this quest that made them think alot.
This is all to say, I love dungeons and drag queens so much. I would loveeeee for them to do it again either with a new cast or with the same people continuing their journey (either would be soooooo fun). But even if they don’t I love this piece of content so much, I’ve rewatched it multiple times. Everything (the players, the dm, the story, the art) works so well together, it’s really a masterpiece. All to say, I love love love everything done with this season.
