yeah idk what their holdup is specifically? but if it’s you looking too “grownup” eyeliner and lipstick are weird choices imo. maybe you could argue that eyeshadow would be a better money’s worth and can also be used like a more subtle version of eyeliner (depending on the shade)
and also I looked it up and eyeshadow can be good to use for several more years than eyeliner so it’s longer lasting too

maybe you can say it’s more beginner friendly too because I think it can be a little more forgiving than eyeliner

My tip is wear whatever you want at the concert, even if you need to apply it at the venue, and then take it off when you get home
