I think it all depends on the venue. Lots of places are cracking down on people camping out/lining up for hours ahead of time. I went to go see Phoebe Bridgers in 2022 and people lined up at like 6 am. But when I went to see Boygenius at MSG the venue handed out wristbands early in the day to prevent that.
