No worries. You can list it as a variation of Snake Eater on the Snake Eater page. That’s how we usually handle variations on the Discord. Otherwise, when the site is made routes overlap.

The first 50% is Snake Eater. It's not ethical to rename a route that was put up a few days into this game's existence. Snake Eater is a fairly classic line that has seen hundreds of sends and free-solos. I understand your variation moves right after Snake Eater, but if you really want it to be a true new route, adjust the start of the route to be different or add it as a variation. You must remember that another person (in this case me) put a lot of effort into discovering what walls were even possible when the game started. Keeping this route up effectively erases all my work, and I don't think it's kind. If we play by these rules, what's stopping another climber from climbing through your route and renaming it? It will get nasty quickly. That's why we've been doing it the way we've been doing it for the last two months.
My reccomendation is to list it as variation in Snake Eater. That's where the route starts.
