“Please wait for 6 pleople” (#2 on ranks) is 100% cheating. When I saw him at the start of the game I thought “cool. # 2 in the world. Should be a fun game. An hour or so of the game went buy and we were down to me him (green)and my neighbor (red). My neighbor and I had been cool the whole game. Green had been on the other side of the map and had only attacked me once to slow me down cause I was doing well. As soon as it went to the three of us they started teaming on me. I knew I couldn’t beat both so I chilled. Red got massive and I didn’t touch him. I just kept making sure green didn’t hold anything because he kept making sure I didn’t. Pretty normal playing until red decided to suicide out on me so that green could take the win. It made no sense. They had gotten me on a card block. Red had easily double the troops of both of us. Green had nothing but durring my 8 rounds of card block red gave him the entire board. Red was a Master and clearly knew what he was doing the whole game. His slam into me was a zero percent roll and it definitely left him with to little to take green on. “Please wait for 6 players” is a cheater and shouldn’t be on the leaderboards. #risk_rank

The person this post is referring to is a well known streamer, "jpizzle925" on Twitch. That particular game was also being streamed in all probability. I highly doubt there was any sort of actual cheating. It might be the case that red also recognised who they were playing against and decided to become the benevolent stream sniper. Then again, masters tend to play for 2nd place quite often instead of grinding out the 1v1, even in advantageous positions, as they still gain FFA points.
