#Prevent early self-destructs

This happens very often in newer lobbies (I lost my old account). Players will card trade at the earliest moment and self-destruct on you for little to no reason (like stacking near them, getting a bonus). This often leads to getting eliminated on the third turn, making the game nearly unplayable.

I don't know how this can be prevented, since it's hard to tell between going for a worthwhile elimination and a self-destruction. Maybe there can be a limit to how much each player can be attacked within the first four turns, or temporary bans if you always lose with another person very early on.

How would that work? Once the grace period ends you are still in a similar situation. Players just get to choose to attack you later.

I would familiarize yourself with the maps you play. Try to read the map as early as you can. Who is going where? Who are they going through to get there. Go somewhere else if you have to. Avoid stacking next to other player's stacks.

You may need to change your plan as the game develops in the first few turns. You can choose to play or not to play with novices as you rank up.

Yes, it can be rough playing against newer players who blast off early. I ranked up and started cutting out Novice players in the games I host or join. Then I ranked up again and set the minimum rank to Intermediate. It is really hard getting minimum rank Expert games to fill up so I'm always going to be rank capped at Master unless I play in tournaments, I guess?
