Continue to go up in ranking but do not win the games. Rewarded for failing. WTF is going on. Why not by place of finish regardless of ranking. Everyone talks about noobs but plenty of expert, master, and grand master do some pretty crappy things as well.

In original table games the bots were called "dummy army", which were only defending the country they were in, both armies should not be allowed to attack! It changes the strategy of the game, since so many players, especially in casual, quit or cancel for a number reasons, or commit suicide. It's not fair to the other players, when both take over. If player quits ,bots should not be all o we'd to attack.
