You can always find active players by engaging in #lfg_main

And additionally, if you're looking for some Casual games with a bit of competitiveness, you should consider joining the "ELO Lounge". You can enable that by selecting it through onboarding on this server.

These are all a great alternative to public lobbies if you're tired of the low quality in ranked games hosted through the app. ^^
