So 12 territory = 4 troop, 15 territory = 5 troop, and so on

that game, 33 / 3 = 11, +2 for holding australia

I see, thank you so much for breaking this down. Is this formula standard? Or did I join a sandbox version or something. (Still fairly new)

I thought it was territories / 6, but its /3?

Yeah it's always been /3 - the minimum of 3 troops means <8 territories you still get something to attack with
