Hello, just curious if there is a tool that allows you to see a complete breakdown of any dice roll (odds the roll succeeds, how often X troops are left over, etc.)

For example, if I'm rolling a 13v10, I would want to know:
a) % chance it succeeds
b) % chance I have 0, 1, 2, 3, etc. troops left over

I know in theory one could be made just by simulating dice rolls a bunch of times over (say, sample size of 100,000), and collecting the results, but I'm just curious if such a tool already exists, and if anyone could direct me to said tool if it does. Thanks!

@floral vine there are several math nerds here, from what i've seen. I'm sure they would help you out. I'd be intetested too

I don't get why it can't be ported over to another more easily accessible code base, but I guess engineers do as they please.

#

Also, you can open .mat Files in Python, which is free to use

Of course it can, but then someone has to port my spaghetti or better, just rewrite it, but I'm too lazy 😐

And this is still up to date with the new dice odds?

Should be, no reason to think it's not

Some people say that they've lost more 2s on 1s since the update, and people have started seeing losing 7 troops on 4s when rolling 9v4s

#

But I haven't been rolling stacks above 70s, so I can't comment on that
