Look closely at the wording. It implies that they were cheating, but stopped after realizing they were reported.

Umm it does not…. It says “you recently reported users for POSSIBLY infringing on fair play rules. These users did not repeat (as in did not play with the person you suspected they collabed with or whatever) any infringement that violates fair play.
So what it’s telling you is they were innocent they did not find any reason to justify a warning or ban and thus the report has now expired.
You should in-fact receive that very same notification for everyone you’ve reported after the report has expired.
You will either receive this for innocence or a message stating they were warned for infringing on fair play (they were guilty)

Ah that must have come in an update. I dont usually report. Im gonna have to test that though

It’s been this way for at least a couple of years haha I’ll either receive that exact message or one stating they were warned/ banned for infringing on fair play.
Whether they are innocent or guilty SMG will inform you of the outcome of your report which is fantastic imo 🙂
