Can we do something about this? I’ve had too many good games I’ve had to just quit because I randomly disconnect in the middle of the game; And don’t make this a personal thing because this happens on and off of wifi in multiple locations.

I can no longer play this game because this happens to me...Every. Single. Time. and then it glitches when I try to rejoin the game.

Someone please fix this

the game cant handle packet loses - once i was in hospital with 5% packet loss - no chance - the net code must be terrible

Packet loss? I kinda know what that means. Is it possible to fix on the users end?

I have the same problem. I get disconnected from a game after about 10 min and unable to rejoin. So frustrating

For anyone experiencing crashes on Steam version of RISK

We've created a Steam Beta branch from v3.18.2, can you check if you still encounter any crashes following installation?
Let us know how you do via support ticket, if you haven't already got a ticket made about it, you can create one here
Please note that it will not have the v3.18.3 fixes present.

To switch to the test version:
Right click RISK in your Steam Library -> click Properties -> click Betas -> enter RISK23042025 and click Check Code -> click Opt in
wait for it to finish installing, check if you encounter the issue on this version

I'm getting highly frustrated about the fact that we have so many connection issues. All of the sudden you can't place troops anymore, so losing the game basically.
Lost a Master rank back to Intermediate because the developers can't fix this issue which is definitely on their side. I think it's a server issue.
And try to get in contact with the developer.
If you create a ticket mentioning the connection issue, you'll get a reply back that it's a known issue and that they are working on it.... my ass !
I've done a bit if research, and this issue is already here for at least 10 months...
'We are working on it'... If they really cared about the game and players they'd have fixed this asap.
I can't understand people still spend money for this game. We should all boycott!

Just had my 3rd game disconnect today... Just wanted to enjoy my saturday with a little risk, but at this point, I just look like an asshole that never takes my turn

Same boat here! It's bad, i have great internet speed and I am just randomly disconnecting! I had been trying to climb back to GM but its super frustrating to loose points from a disconnect!

Just happened to me. Wonder if it happens to non mobile players. Game seems slanted advantage computer players
