We need more chat options for communications, such as "Why?", "Congrats", "We were allies!", "Almost!"

Its very difficult to communicate with the current chat options

This would create a better gaming experience

Risk is a diplomacy game, The current chat system is limited even for minimal chat options. On this note risk still provides weekly new chat options. That said, there’s a challenge here. The developers have kept the chat minimal to avoid toxicity, hence why massive features have not been added to improve chat to my understanding, and i do assume it would be broader project including over complications and maybe ruining simplicity with too much new chat options in the game. If they were to add more options, they’d need to carefully balance it so the additions genuinely improve interaction without opening the door to potential negativity or unnecessary clutter. On that note I do agree there should 100% be more chat options introduced especially for minimal interactions like this would be beneficial to overall game play and strategy of the game. .

Risk already has a pretty robust set of emotes to display emotions, which cover a lot of basic reactions. The question would be whether new phrases would truly add value or simply duplicate what emotes already convey. That said, considering current gamestate and the focus on other updates like (network overhaul), I doubt we’ll see a broad overhaul of chat options anytime soon. I completely agree that this would be a great improvement to the game. It’s something that could enhance the overall experience without requiring a huge development effort, especially for simple reactions like the ones you suggested.

This topic has come up a lot before, and it’s definitely an interesting idea. If the network overhaul happens down the line, this kind of update could be a great addition, but for now, it might just take time especially if you consider that when they do add more reactions it will likely be in a much broader update to the chat system.

yes im just saying a few more options! i think its not that complicated and it enhances expression, feelings and communications. It's not bad to express ourselves during the game!
