I literally only came here to tell the dude that I made an alliance with, then graciously let them build when I could’ve just taken your ass out immediately. I would’ve let you win, but it’s a bitch move to make an alliance in fog of war, see my pieces, wait until you’re getting 20 troops then kick in the back door. If that’s how yall are winning games as a strat youre a crap player. That’s the most low down strategy in the game. In my opinion when you make alliances, you should take everyone else out then battle 1v1. Im sticking the 3rd finger on my hand up at that ridiculous strat. 🙄. No more alliances. Everyone dies by the sword from here out. 😂😂😂

Most people recommend playing fog games with alliances turned off, I think largely because of this reason.
Treat alliances as strategic tool like everything else. You get extra information and the ability to coordinate, but you also expose your position.
Breaking an alliance in a no fog game is weird, but in a fog game it can be a useful tool.
Appreciate the advice. I prefer no alliances at all. I decided to be friendly and buddy stabbed me in the back.
To each his own and there are certainly pros and cons to any approach in the game. I can just say for me personally that when someone declines or ignore my alliance request, I treat them differently in the game. Because I think they either have ill intent, or are not aware of what alliances actually do and are therefore a bit less experienced.
I'm literally agree with that, in my first games, people doing alliance and after they disgrace you when they get the opportunities. like little....
Sooner or later almost any alliance member will turn on you! But yes its maddening sometimes
