#Programmers fix connection issue please.

@cunning verge Network Overhaul most likely fix many of these issues i summarized it below if it comes.....
One of the main issues are that the third party servers sometimes struggle to keep up, especially during peak hours or after updates. A lot of players have reported getting disconnected mid game or having progress reset, which makes it feel like the whole system is unreliable. Even if your local internet is great, problems like server bottlenecks or syncing errors can still mess things up. Another factor is that risk has a global player base, so when you’re matched with people far away, latency can become an issue. The game’s servers are not optimized for that kind of demand in all regions, which is why some people deal with lag or drops more often than others.
The good news is that the network overhaul is planned to come as in the workings. That’s a big shift, and it could solve a lot of these problems. A server sided model means they’ll have more control over how the game handles connections which should lead to a smoother experience instead of a over dependence on third party servers as of now. It also reduces reliance on individual players devices and networks, which is a big plus. In the meantime we can only hope for them to get it out as soon as possible but its uncertain with the current progress if we will be alive to see it lol.
To clarify on this, it's specifically our 3rd party MP engine that's the network pain point (not 3rd party servers), and that the games are client authoritative instead of server authoritative
A lot of the "unable to reconnect" stuff is handled by the engine (and if we don't get it for whatever reason or you don't get something from it in response) it knocks everything out of sync
On progress it's scheduled as 4.0 update, we've got 1 update this year then next year should be moving onto 4.0 I think - it really depends on how testing progression goes, if for example as we switch lots over to server side - and it prevents games on specific settings or rewriting some of the existing behaviours to server has unexpected results, will mean those need to be fixed before it can be released (it's why we've aimed to not give a fixed ETA, too many moving parts and things that can delay it for one)
