Wow, you did not only lose, you lost bad. They still had 91 on cap after a 93% hit??? That must be the worst possible odds.
It's a 92.29% chance of winning the attack.
If you do 490 vs 175 (the amount of troops you killed), it's obviously 100%. So balanced blitz doing wonders again. It starts being under 100% at 260 cap. So your 490 should have killed at least 259

Yeah, I thought it was 93, but 92.29% was close enough. It was a three player end game, and the 3rd player flagged up, so I was guranteed 2nd. in order to get 1st i just had to go through that cap so I took it

I had a similar scenerio the other day, down to 2 player endgame, 1 chance to break thru a cap... Similar odds, similar results... The advice i got was to use my slider... Limit the damage in case i got a bad roll... But for me there was no point in retreating or regrouping after that bad roll, had to winand break thru that turn or the game was lost... Maybe slider set at 50% 1st roll and then roll it again?

Isn't the secret to 0% slider cap stack first if you don't have a 100% roll?
