Just reached intermediate, 13 games played with a win ratio of 76%.

I play against everyone that joins my lobbies, only if i know them i will kick them out of the lobby.
This ain’t going te be the fastest run, but i want to see what win rate is needed to reach 1v1 GM and how much time it is gonna take.

I would also recommend watching this video as a great way of learning initially. You can also check out a lot of his other videos for more specific instructions for other settings https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDRJ3rcKFjo&t=6s

Today, I will provide you the best tips and tricks to become the number 1 risk player on ladder. This video is one of the biggest projects I ever took on this channel. I hope you enjoy!

I’ll give you some tips for 1 v 1 prog caps. (Which are the settings I play and I usually end up around 30-40 ranked on the leaderboard each season. I play auto set up, no fog, blizzards on. 1) choose a smaller map to play upon. 2) I typically add two bots to the game. To me this balances out turn order, otherwise the person who goes first typically has an advantage. 3) be patient and protect your capital. 4) keep your capital open for when you want to make a cap run. 5) if opportunities arise to take a cap, do it IF you can protect it. 6) try to prevent your opponent from holding a bonus. 7) realize that the bots that are in the game are great opportunities for kills to take their cards when the time is right. Those extra cards in progressive can really (and often do) lead to you taking your opponent’s capital. 8) if you get a long game (doesn’t happen often but it can) you may need to card block your opponent. Most importantly, have fun and good luck!

Performance like so far should bring you to GM in about 100 games. Max out at about 30.5k-31k.

Cool visual, thanks for sharing. I guess it really depends on the exact win %. If he could get to 85% instead of 79% it would make a big difference

I am back to expert level, a lot of strong players joined me games, the games were fun, but not so good for my ranking 🙂

Sparky, I am guessing there are a lot of wolves running about as novices and beginners this season. Just a thought… good luck with your run.

I abort this run. I wanted to see if it was possible to reach GM with this settings without filtering and with not a crazy amount of games.

The setting were Caps hide and Seek

Command base 1CX
Auto placement
Capital Conquest
Fog On:
Blizzards: On
Portals: No
Fixed
No bots
No Alliances
Neutral activity
True Random

If have come to master rank, but the last leap is gonna take to many games at my liking.

The positive about this settings is that a played against much more Master then when i play for example Jules Vernes.

This was a little bit to luck based, with decent players joining the lobby.
