When you believe you've been scammed, what do you do? I came here to share it in front of everyone, including the company I think is potentially scamming others. Do I believe filling out a help desk ticket run by the potential scammers will bare any fruit? Of course not! But, I'll give them one last chance and fill it out. So, I came here and threw sunlight all over it. I was immediately told by an SMG mod, using what I believed were some pretty lame cookie cutter excuses, to basically shut up or I risk being banned here, too. Then some clown trolls chimed in. A few others tried to help (thanks).
I've received 2 or 3 temporary bans with an incredibly vague explanation that just says I've violated their policy. It doesn't articulate what specific thing I've done. And when I review their policy, only #5 could be applied... And only because it's so broad and arbitrary and vague that it leaves the door open to ban anyone at any time for any reason. Only shady scum and stupid people do things like this.
Given that only my main account was banned (where I've bought nearly everything in game to support SMG) but my brother's account (aka my alt) is never banned (it has almost nothing purchased), and I play the exact same way on both accounts, what am I left to deduce?
I started to think they kept banning only the account with almost everything unlocked in hopes to manipulate me into creating a new account and buy everything again.
I wasn't banned permanently. I shouldn't have even recieved the temporary bans. I play fairly and haven't broken any of their rules, except for possibly #5 for the reasons I gave.
I still believe they include #5 as a backdoor money scheme as I layed out.
A SMG mod in this very discord admitted they falsely ban players. I hope this is their only fault. If they're using shady or probably illegal tactics to manipulate their players into spending more money, then I'll do everything I can to bankrupt them.
