Please take action and ban this idiot

Everytime I report a player for stalling, collab etc. the report goes ignored even though there was a clear reason for penalty/ban for that reported user. However, today I faced the most annoying player I’ve ever played with - General Hano 18639, sporting Spanish flag and purple color.

Long story short, during end game once he had the upper hand and a clear troop lead, having 10:1 ratio of troops to mine, other players eliminated and 5/6 caps conquerd, he kept on taking territories one by one instead of going for the final cap (which btw had only one troop, indicating a clear victory for him)

I reported him in-game, but knowing how ignorant the SMG mods/admins whatever are, I wanted to create a dedicated post for this. One could say he was just a noob not knowing the rules or ”playing it safe”, but ince the ranks were revealed, he turned out to be Master.

Please be reasonable for once and take this report into account and ban him, these type of players among collaborators are the worst.

Cheating reports are not handled via community chatrooms, to report cheating you need to do so in-game.
Process:

• Click the avatar of who you wish to report on the right
• Select the red triangle box on the left panel below the avatar in alliance window
• Select the reason and hit send
  You will receive a reply within 30d regarding the outcome of the report.

I know SMG can't/won't manually process reports and that they only have effect automatically after 10 reports.
That being said, it is a frusterating system sometimes. It feels like we're powerless more often than not.

Why stay in the game? All other players eliminated. Report for stalling and surrender. Game over, you had second place, you still will have second place. Surrender and move on with your day… why let a person impact you and your enjoyment of the game?

I have reported plenty of people before. I had a lot of "no action taken" messages, but I also got plenty of "punishment was issued" messages. I also have played games where people could have thought that I collab with someone, because I understand how the game works and when to ally up with someone. I also had legit disconnects before, which made it look like I fake bot outed.

I am well aware of these cases Hokaras. I suggest checking out some fixed caps with true random today and tell me how often you see collabs or collusions. I would say its about 20% of the matches played. They know how to get away with it apparently and SMG has no idea how to stop it.

I have put thousands of hours into this game as well I know how alliances work I am not a bot

I have even started to recognize some of the names that do it.. will streaming and making clips of them actually do something about it because the report button clearly does not stop them.

I see very little collab in my games, because I'm the host and I kick most people that try. I had plenty of cases where my lobby was at 6/6 I kick 1 of the 2 suspects and the other guy doesn't ready up/quits turn 1.

That's been my best luck hosting my own lobby.

Usually kick one. He will come back so I kick his buddy or alt account and then they both just leave.

My tip for that is to wait with the kicking until the lobby is at 6/6. It makes it more likely that someone else joins and you have to do less kicking.

so how do you determine that buddy/alt is in the lobby? i have an app that lists players ai like or dislike. i give them an Fx for Friend and how many times they were nice/helpful/honorable and a Dx for ones that were jerks at some point. I will kick some out but will play with some D;s but am prepared to deal with them.

If you are down to the final two players, and your opponent is going to win but they are prolonging the game. (And there are no surviving other players continuing in the game as bots) there is no difference between staying in the game and losing and taking second place or surrendering and taking second place. The only difference (which matters to some) is that if you stay in the game you do see the rankings of your opponents. When you surrender, you don’t see that screen.

Sounds like if they could make that change in the game to be able to see the ranks even when you surrender it would make doing so easier. If you go into a game with game timer of 90+ seconds you have to be prepared that the players might use all their time. I don't get the point in reporting someone for that, I agree with the thought if your position doesn't change just move on. Their antics to prolong the game for no reason go unrealized and you get some of your time back!
