#Can we get different chat options in the waiting lobby?

Stuff like "waiting for players", "I'm still here/ going AFK" etc, etc.
I'm tired of people spamming "let's go" and "start game" when there's still 3 empty player slots open, and only being able to communicate that I'm waiting for players via the sad emote.
Why is "I'm using touch controls" even a chat option when this isn't!?

Also annoying when people spam "remove bot" on a zombies lobby??

I believe the "I'm using touch controls!" is meant for casual games.

I suggested an idea for a voting system for players to choose how many players to start with, among other things. It wasn't well received by the community.

I made a suggestion to change lobby size and bot amount to the modifiers. This would free up emotes and give people a filter to look out for.

I think the host’s chat messages should be different than the other players. The host’s options should in 1) Waiting for More Players, 2) Add a bot player? 3)Remove a bot player? 4) Good Luck For the other players who join the lobby, their options should include 1) Good Luck, 2) Yes, 2) No. the problem the way it is structured currently is their is different ways to interpret each emoji sent….

This doesn't make sense to me. How could everyone vote? The host could want to play a 6 player game and when 2 other people show up they could just outvote them and have it be a 3 player game.

I think the current method is fine. If you are the host you can decide. If you aren't the host and don't want to have a 6 player game, then don't wait around until 6 players show up.

The one thing I think needs to change is the "ready up". The host shouldn't be able to just start the game randomly. Players will just randomly start lobbies after quickly adding bots and then your only way out is to just not ready up and add another bot. If the ready up was instead in the lobby we wouldnt have that problem

I like how your beginning argument was against removing host privilege. Right after that you suggest something removing host control.

The host should have the privelege of choosing how many players play in their game. They are the one who took the time and effort to set up the game, buy the map, etc. And maybe they are playing settings that don't work except for having a specific number of players. Or maybe they are a top GM and don't want to have 5 person game as it isn't worth the RP.

But having that privilege shouldn't mean they can force others into their game, which is how it currently is. The host gets to play the exact settings they want and that's fine, but the other players shouldn't be forced into them when what they thought the settings were changes last minute.

There should be 5-10 sec cooldown before the Host can start game, after they add bot(s).
