Nice colourscheme. The contrast between the straight geometric lines and the natural curved lines makes for interesting territory style too

I really like your design! I think having a map focused on the West would be a great expansion.
I wonder if you thought about making natural features natural barriers like you have with The Great Salt Lake, e.g. the Grand Canyon, the Snake and Columbia Rivers...
