#Is This “Harassment?”

So I played a game, big map, alliances on. At the beginning of the game, I reach out to the player on the opposite side of the map (fog off) for an alliance, they accept. The map has a lot of bonuses and blue player (who accepted my alliance) gets a bonus and the early lead. Slowly but surely, I take a bonus and the blue player breaks my bonus. No big deal, I break the alliance. I then remove blue’s nearby territories so he cannot easily break my bonus (which I retake). At this point, he travels across the map to keep breaking my bonus for 5 consecutive turns. Keep in mind, it’s a 6 player game, and other players are holding bonuses that he is not breaking. I am behind in troop count because of his continuous breaks. (He passed up easy kills in order to keep breaking me in a progressive game.) Would you consider the blue player’s actions harassment? (I won the game, just curious what people think…)

Its definitely weird although I don't think I'd call it harassment. Probably just a really bad player who doesn't know how to play. If the player was taunting you with emotes while doing it then maybe

the only thing that qualifies as harassment imo is emote spam

targeting someone in game is a perfectly acceptable thing to do as long as you didnt join a game with someone you know with the intent to target them

I mulled it over as it was happening. I was torn. On the one hand, I respected the move. After each attack (for three rounds after breaking me) he offered the alliance back, and I declined the alliance. I was perfectly fine with him breaking me. He was opening my capital (thank you very much) and I was in no danger of him taking it. So part of me respected his actions. Where I think it moved into harassment, is when he pretty much is only attacking me instead of taking actions to win the game… like eliminating the bot who was on 4 cards that he had an easy kill guard on (and the set would have allowed him to set in to either get stronger and eliminated another bot). Again, I won the game, so it wasn’t a big deal. He did end up being a beginner, so it was probably just noobery.

Is slow rolling turn after turn harassment?

I don’t think so at all. I have played against a bunch of players over time who have slow rolled (keep in mind I play true random dice all the time) a bunch in my games. I thought it was a little odd, but never thought it was harassment. Do you play fixed or progressive? BB or TR? Keep in mind, my thoughts are just my opinion, and everyone has their own opinion about stuff like this.

fixed. BB. Yellow was super aggressive and attacked the entire game. I think he was trying to reduce my count so purple would suicide me for second. (a supposed "beginner"). finally he stalked me and i got sick of it and smashed him. but the point seem to be to harass

I have played a lot of beginners/novices who were clearly on an alt account. I have estimated some of them to be master or GM. That is annoying to me when you play a really great player only to discover the “beginner” ranking.
