hello risk takers, why is there no blackilist? As a host of lobbys i would like to block players that target me, do some stupid stuff, i can add someone after game as a friend and cant even message him, so this make not much sense, but i cant block someone from my games which would make much more sense, with friendly greetings hidz

Talk about a game that doesn’t reach its full potential for avoidable reasons.

Post in #risk_ideas if you want the devs to see your idea

I tag targeters/toxic suiciders with "Offensive Name". then they show up as a solid colour next time I see them. not an appropriate use of the Report feature, but how else am i supposed to defend myself against people who only enter games to ruin them for other people?

If you feel the behaviour is 'toxic' - harassment would be the right report type

The report feature unfortunately is a complete waste of time. Had a guy yesterday bot out after amassing troop advantage, only to re-appear four more times at key stages of the game to disrupt others play and bot again. Reported five times during game play - NOTHING! This type of behaviour is unfortunately becoming more common. I would like to suggest that anyone who misses three turns or five times the length of a turn in a game should automatically be surrendered within the game and get the points position they are in at that time. If they have lost connection, that is unfortunate for the individual, but overall it would stop the massive disruption we see everyday. What Pete, Kylted and others are doing is to try and build the game of risk on line. The ability to Bot out and re-join, or to Bot out to gain points is something that pisses every player off. In addition. Repeat offenders should have a three strikes and your out - acount suspended for a month perhaps! Sorry for the long rant.

It’s possible to abuse that maybe if you’re in second place and someone is going to overtake that position. If it’s a stalemate and eventually their troop count will exceed yours, all you’d need to do is to stall for a few rounds and then get the points position that you’re in at the time.

Why would you report someone 5 times?

Imagine if you could get someone banned by spamming report system - now imagine how many games you could play before being banned because of this spam

1 report or 1000 reports is still 1 report in the one game against the same player

Additionally a big factor is that connection issues are a genuine concern.

You will see players complain that their opponent rejoined after X time
But you'll also see players complain if that can't rejoin after disconnecting (or phone dying to low battery etc)

Fixing one breaks the other & vice versa -

The reason for the multiple reporting is the game was live and therefore it could have been looked at in real time. I understand that connection can drop, but that wasn't the issue, it was the mode of play when re-joining. Anyway, it matters not now, nothing was done and therefore there is no need to discuss further.

Do live games with reports get checked for cheating in real time?

Our long queue of ban appeals issued due to a mix of user reports & system side reports would disagree with you there 😕

Alot of games report sytems put you on a ignore list if you send too many reports or report to often. To keep karens for banning people over petty reasons, like not letting them win for example. You should only report players 1 time and hope for the best, its flawed but its all we got in todays world...

Stupid shit

I would disagree, it's not stupid, it just doesn't work as it should. That is no ones fault, it's simply a question of money. If the game was regularly played by over 1 million people daily, Hasbro would be investing in better bits of the game. Currently Risk is a Niche game with few players in comparison to others.
