Why do those cats have caps?
Felt too slow for me. Mombas game lasted 8+ hours. Is there a better way to keep some of the skill of ffa caps in tourneys, but make it faster?
Always play with at least two bots…? 😂
@warm elm The cats are conveying different emotional reactions to Capital game settings. (There is slow mode here even for the person who created the thread…😞)
@restive egret I found that bots in practice games sped things up a bit and didn’t add as much luck as you’d think… in most situations the person who stole the bot cap didn’t gain that much long term advantage… now actually being able to farm the bot behind you until the card trades get big enough could make for a bit of a snow ball effect and the starting position of the bot in relation to your cap would be totally luck dependent, so there is that. I even played one practice game with two starting bots and it ended up being quite a fun and skillful game.
For a long time, FFA tourneys were 5 human players plus a bot from the host who set up the game and left.
I wonder if that accidentally made certain settings a bit faster, by removing 1 human player.
A game ends when there’s only 1 player left, so in many cases, starting with fewer players is faster
I think that also people have figured out that in caps games most people have a fixed amount of time to play it so people(like me) clear at least 12 hours and have no problem trying to out wait the other players until they bot out.
Thank you for revealing that you only allow for 12 hours… I will make sure to allow for 13 hrs in our next game 😂

emoji spam? No! It was a carefully constructed poem in emojis: “Love caps, hate caps, heartbreak caps…”
