#Suddenly a whole crop of “increased troops” cheaters is ruining game play for me!

They seem able to increase their troop number at the beginning of rolls at will. Not by a lot each time, sometimes 4 or 5, sometimes more. It’s obvious to anyone who’s been playing a while and understands how troop numbers are arrived at based on territories or continents you control.

Common people, this makes playing this game a frustrating experience! They are doing it in 1vs1 and even casual FFA so it’s just people trying to screw up the game experience for others. Mods need to go after these cheats!

I've been playing this 6+ years and only ever seen troop numbers being manipulated maybe twice.
If you see it, report it. If the report comes back negative then check your calculations. (1 troop per 3 territories [min 3 troops] + 2 troops per capital + territory bonuses)

Wrong! It’s easy to spot, especially in first rolls. Just had another one…cheater should have gotten 5 troops but received 9??? I reported then quit the FFA game. If, as you say, that you’ve only seen it (maybe) twice, then you haven’t been playing much lately!

Wait, you’re compensated more troops for your turn in the rotation? Okay, I didn’t know that. That could well explain what I’m seeing!

In a 6 player game:
p4 receives +1
p5 receives +2
p6 receives +3

Only applies to turn 1 - and is to account for likely lost territories/troops before they've played

for 1v1 it's not quite as effective - same with 3/4 player games, as it isn't really scaled as "how many territories you're likely to lose" to "how many troops should be given"
