Tonnes of suggestions on how to improve this game, but how much is too much?
I’ve seen it before with other games I used to really enjoy, when eventually it becomes all science-no art, and it kind of loses its flavour for me. Maybe thats just personal preference, but at some point a game still has to be a game.
The more features that are added and changes made that reduce the gap between players with skill + knowledge and players without, forces the game to become more and more about luck and less about experience and good decision making. Conversely, the more we remove the seeming ‘randomness’ of certain features, the less exciting the game is!! If you always know the outcome of every move and every decision before you make it, well, that just sounds to me like a whole lot more stalemated games, and looks a whole lot less RISKY than it should look.
Thats just my two cents. A lot of the changes are great, but I guess I’m wondering where the limit is and will we know it before we go past it?
