Hello, I would like to express my continued frustration with matching making within Risk. I really enjoy the fact that you are able to customize games completely and players are allowed to join at will. However, I believe people taking advantage and abuse that system. It takes wayy to long to find a match, not because the player base is low but because people are extremely impatient and join a game and then leave. And I may add, it's not just because they see very few players in the queue. They leave no matter how many people are in the lobby.

This dulls the expirence of the game so much that I have taken long breaks from it because it's just so hard to find players. There must be discouragements implemented into the game if people leave the matchmaking queue. May I suggest 30 sec advertising or a 5 min lockout. It's very annoying. Thank you for reading my vent!

Currently with the big picture of the map, you can only see one lobby at a time, and you can’t see whether the host added bots.

If they had smaller thumbnail images of the map so you could see more lobbies at once, and could see how many bots were added it would be easier for players to join the right lobbies to begin with

@boreal cypress That's already what I do. I'm saying it's an area of the game that needs quality improvement

The other big thing making it hard for Grandmasters is limits on who you can play and how many times you can play them.

Currently, at least for 1v1 it feels like there’s only a choice between easy opponents, or breaking fairplay rules by playing the same active GMs from Discord regularly for rank

This is a great point, when 1v1 first started up as a separate leaderboard, I found at least 5-10 people I regularly play private games with, which would break FairPlay rules even though I didn’t intend to. So, I had to leave the lobby or kick them from the lobby to maintain FairPlay rules.

Overall, it’s hard to try to change the settings of a game to only include certain ranks, because you would end up playing people you already know or have chatted with.
