#Cancel Ally Request

That's a good idea. Feel free to post it in #risk_ideas using the +suggest or /suggest command in #nr_bot_commands
You Can use the button; break alliance
Only if they accepted the request, if the request is just sitting there you can't remove it and they'll be able to accept whenever strategically advantageous to themselves. I suggested this almost a month ago as well, hopefully they'll implement this
I've seen a dislike button from a SMG-staff member in the #risk_ideas
Yeah I guess Luci isn't a fan of this idea, idk why, I thought it was a really good suggestion and super easy to implement as well
@brazen kiln @oblique vortex I dislike it because it still keeps the fundamentally flawed "permanently sent request" - I'm preferential towards a 30s grace period to accept or it is rejected automatically, simpler to understand and can easily report & block anyone that spams it
Worth noting that my votes are purely personal perspective - based on whether I think it is worth the development time, whether it's a great feature to implement, and whether it fixes root issues - this one doesn't fix the root issue imo
Added to that, if someone forgets to cancel - then someone abuses it - it's our fault for supporting it lasting forever, so not very user-friendly
I think a grace period and automatic cancellation after 30s will be great as well.
Maybe it’s an even better addition
Cancel isn't a bad suggestion (so my negative shouldn't be seen as "this sucks") I just don't think it's optimal solution 👍
Maybe a longer period of time as players could be sent this request during their turn and in the middle of a series of attacks with camera animations on.
