Traits, dupes, & how to apply them!

In other gacha games, dupes are required for constellations or something of the sort to unlock the full potential of a character's kit. In Grand Chase, you can play without dupes. So what do you do with them if you can just raw dog progression without? Well...

#

They go to Traits!

#

Yes. That's it. Traits.

#

These small incremental traits, however, do matter.
At Transcendence Level 3 & 6 [T3 / T6], you can select one of three different traits from one of three different categories: Helper, Guardian, & Executioner.

#

Helper traits buff the entire party.

Guardian traits are buffs that make everyone tankier.

Executioner traits sound scary but like the name implies, it makes DPS units execute things faster.

You should even out your units for Transcendence. Getting everyone to T3 is probably more beneficial than it is than getting one unit to T6.

#

T0 → T3 = 3 Dupes

T0 → T6 = 12 Dupes

↑ The cost to even everyone at T3 is the same for one to hit max level, & this game doesn't have a party or unit to clear every game mode. Since the game is heavily focused on having more than one party, having everyone leveled and traited out is a better investment than just having one member out of like, 40 maxed.
