Expectations vs Reality

When I created this forum channel my expectations of what I wanted the activity to be like and what it's actually being the activity are actually quite different. As what is #1023703236210868244 right now it's mostly composed of 3 broad categories, not really encouraging discussion and no new threads being created or encouraged to participate in, I liked the idea Mishy had at the beginning of having a space for himself but that was it since then. This kinda feels like building a road and then going back there to see that the grass around it is all gone showing that people are going through a different path. At first I thought I wasn't clear on how to use it but now I just don't know

how did you want it to turn out? I feel like the original #media-and-bounties was pretty much the same as this, just posting art and photography with little discussion stemming from it

there's definitely potential for it to be more but for that potential to be attained I think it would be helpful to know what the intended parameters for the forum feature's use were

Yui and I were talking on Instagram and she said I could create an Instagram art section, but I kinda just didn’t lol. Maybe I could, but that would probably just be more of what you imply you don’t want. If you want activity, I think you should have main channels, not more buried threads you have to dig through to find. I think threads, by definition, are niche, meaning not much discussion outside the passionate. But those are just my thoughts
