Guys, I would like some advice on how to clear the Digger's Den without any T6 rare or epic armor and weapons.

  • Foodbluff I would probably use the T6 caribou chowder for the cold (or maybe the T3 version?). I still need to upgrade my bench.
  • Pets I currently have a T5 bear with 2100 dmg. Should I wait for a T6 pet I also still have to upgrade my bench. Why I can't buy universal bait for gold like other players?
  • Healing Probably 40 T5 ointments or more? Or T6 instead?
  • Armor would be probably few T5 rare Sherif full sets.
  • Weapon my 3 best guns as we speak are: T5 rare Trench Gun (lvl5 Dmg 1580), T6 common Winchester Gallery Gun (lvl5 Dmg 1410), T6 rare S&W Schofield (lvl 5 Dmg 1420).
  • Extra Maybe some dynamite?
Rings/amulets: I don’t have any with special powers, only the one from CT.

Aside from the possible food buff and pet upgrade, I don’t have much more compared to when I cleared the T5 Cultist Camp, so I’m not feeling very confident. What am I missing?

If you have any weapons damage skills or revolver skills, you should use;

Weapons: about 3 Schofield pistols and the Winchester gallery gun, and Trench shotgun for the first wave of bandits,

Armor: 3 Sheriff sets, one T6 common set paired with sheriff boot (maybe from one of the 3 sets)..

for food buffs: use Caribou chowder + T5 corn dog+ T6 rare drink/any drink that increases damage..

A pet is not necessary unless you have enough crackers to feed it ( bears eat a lot) or if it has partner skills (50% or 75%)

For healing: bring about 40 (Maybe 60) T5 ointments or if you have T6, about 40 should be enough

Just bring your best attack speed rings and amulets..

#

If you don't have any damage skills, come with an extra set of armor (maybe another T6 common) and definitely T6 ointment and extra T5 ones...

#

At least for the first try, then you can reach a conclusion on the items you later did not use so as to know what will be enough the next time...

Off topic: I've spin the wheel 🛞 and got a lot of T6 rare recipes, that I would normally get after Diggers Den.

T6 uncommon hat much more op. More dura, more defence, mote attack speed than sheriff hat. No metal input in crafting, reparing.
Other parts of sherrif armor are op there but u need to wach hp closely, with last 2 bosses.
U need enter this arenas of fight with armor on full dura or it might get destroyed during fight.
T5 rare handgun works fine if u have skills for handgun.
Need some animal weapon with it also as there is dogs and kodiak bears at 2nd boss.
Use pet for last 2 bosses, can save u if u get in dificulty.
Pet can keep last boss stynding in place instade of fast moving in snow.
Mostly rare foods are very op at this outpost full of bandits. Saves dura a lot.
I woud sugest t5 rare fish food that incrise c.chance,t6 drink that incrise damage. Those 2 combine very well, and are very op with rare handgun.

Thanks guys. I will wait a bit... Update few benches to T6/T6+, pill up healing for pet (I have very little ATM), double check my skills...

I just watched a few online videos again, and I’m definitely not ready yet...

As they say: thanks a thousand times! 01_laugh

I ran it with all t5 rares. Now thats what I still run with but easier now with skills, my first runs were pre skills. Did die with Juno a couple times. But otherwise haven't died. Mostly died on him because t5 heals are too slow. (Or sometimes I was too slow) I would take t5 heal stack for regular enemies and t6 stack for bosses especially juno.

#

I find the t5 Schofield and the t5 trench gun to be op. Lots of tunnels and the spawns frequently stack up and move like one. Pistol for individuals and shotgun for the groups.

Bring officer's saber or harpoon if you have it use on the generator. Because if the extra bleed. Some people like a cat for the pet for that reason. Be sure to move to a different genny than your pet. I find pet walks into explosion all the time so pet is low value there to me. Either get a gator or take one that is cheap to heal unless you have a ton of crackers and can feed a bear.

#

You want a rifle for the next guy, pistol/rifle combo, pistol for him, rifle for the bears.

#

I do pistol/ shotgun on juno, pistol for him, shotgun for the spawns. If you have the t6 uc drink would do that one for the juno arena.

Thank. Those are very helpful advices.

I saw one of your videos and I saw what you say for the "pet walks into explosion". It is nice you are showing it. 🙂
It is a pitty we can't not tell our pet "Wait here" and "Come here"... It would save them some health points time to time.

Remember, you don't have to do DD all in one go. You have a whole week, so you can clear a stage, lick your wounds, repair your gear and come back later .

Hi guys, any advice on the final boss?
I did everything smoothly thanks to your advice...
Only for the final boss I died 3 or 4 times.
I have T6 uncommon revolver lvl5, my T5 bear (still waiting the T6 universal bait to get a T6 bear) with extra dmg with food bluff and backpack, T6 pet crackers & T6 ointments in direct pockets. Armor is T5 rare but the hat is T6 common (everything lvl5+). Rings are 2x14 speeds.
It will be hard for me to have better items... I think I have to get better at it.
My phone is pretty annoying to close application... I don't have the time to close the game without dying.

# maiden coral Hi guys, any **advice** on the **final boss**? I did everything smoothly thanks ...

If you can't quick quit then make sure you put everything you can on your horse or in the chests in the first area. Perhaps consider making a 2nd pack if you havent already that you can use for battles that you don't repair.

You absolutely need the green heals. I find a pet is fairly useless as it gets taken out by the explosives very fast. So pet doesn't matter much unless you have a gator.

I did my first runs with sheriff and schofield. You like shotguns DD is a great place for the trench gun. I never upgraded the commons and uncommons beyond what the old blueprint system gave. So i can't compare them wuth the t5 rares. Feel like you get better buffs and perks on the rares though.

Anyway i use the schofield and the trench gun. Schofield on Juno and the shotgun on the minions.

Over heal and use the green ointments, red are too slow. Don't stand still. Choose either the extra dmg t6 drink or the uncommon one with the slowdown.

If you don't want to wear sheriff armor then i would stick with the sheriff boots for the speed.

Thanks for the advices. It is good to know that you are using Schofield even for the boss! I have been more on the safe side and use T6 uncommon... Maybe when I will be more confident I can go back to the Schofield at least for the beginning.
For the pet, I agree that they need a lot of healing indeed... What a pain but I hate dying so I prefer to use it. I think I used more than 40 T6 crackers 01_laugh
And indeed you are right about the backpack. Even if the boss is the only place I die in Boreal, even for that it is worthy to craft a rotting but skilled packback that I would use only for that specific guy. I am sure I will have no problem to distroy it at the next DD 01_laugh 01_laugh
Thanks. Once again you are very helpful. It is very much appreciated 🙂

I never take a pet into DD. At best it distracts one enemy for a short time, at worst it's constantly in your way in those tight and cramped spaces, helping you to die more quickly. Use a shotgun there instead, saving lots of durability on your pistols. Pistols only for single enemies at short range. For the end boss it is ineffective, unless you want to heal it constantly, neglecting your own healing.
I'd suggest using a rifle for the end boss (increased range is more important than damage IMHO) and a shotgun for the regular spawns. I always use the t6 epic rifle. It's obtainable early (if you have the gold for it...).

# maiden coral Thanks for the advices. It is good to know that you are using Schofield even for...

I died a few times with Juno for sure. I think twice? The first time i went i didn't have the greens. Killed him in like 2 shots when i went back. On everytime i didn't record i died haha.

I like a pet at the first boss. I find if i get the pet to attack a machine then go as far as i can to attacl the others then the pet doesn't get hit as much.

I think pet is useful at the first switvhes and the last one but not super useful in the actual boss battles.

Juno is very challenging becuase he can deplete your HP super fast. I wouldn't worry about healing the pet during that battle. Pack schofield, trench and green heals and be prepared to heal even before you are taking damage so its working as you take the damage. Try to keep your hp green. Its hard to get out of range in the arenas. Fast boots and the t6 uncom drink help some with that.

I did my first run of diggers today, and it really just came down to leaving and rejoining

#

I simply brang, sheriff set and a schofield. For the times he spawns minions, u can just quit the game and come back, and the minions out of the cave simply disappear
