This is by far the worst update they have come up with and to the point of deleting the game entirely

So today my ranch was raided and I didn’t have the guard up cause $ has been tight and when I went to defend, I got killed almost instantly by a mugger. And then they raided all my sh*t mostly. And to get it back it was either pay 175 coins or $7.99 for the map to raid back

#

All that hard work and gathering GONE

Thats heartbreaking, bro. I know how you feel. What lv are you? What tier of raids do you get? What did they take?

smoky carbon

They took a lot of health, food and metal

Was there anything particular about the update?

That really sucks. We’ve all been there. What nobody tells you is that eventually you’ll get all your stuff back, even if it takes 20 raids.

that map wouldn't have got it back (you start getting stuff back from a stash roughly 16-24 hours after it was stolen, not immediately), so you made the right choice not to buy it.

bandit stash maps, which you'll get more of in the future when you kill bandits (don't pay for any extra, just use the dead bandit ones) return 2 stacks of stolen items to you per stash location. so if you had 8 different things stolen, it should generally take 4 maps to get them all back. Some things can be a little glitchy though and take longer, and I know one player didn't get a backpack returned once

Bandit raids haven't been updated. Same old. When I had stuff taken ages ago it took weeks before I started to find odds and ends back in the stashes. Im told its a shorter time frame now, and you will get back one or 2 stacks of your items with the loot.

Your next raid the bandits will be weaker because you lost. If you want to weaken them as much as possible you can let one or more go after you have the map each raid.

So if you get item stolen. Game would allow you to take it back all stolen items, over time with stash map?

based on what people have said, you may sometimes get more back if one of those items is in the regular stash loot - like if you had 12 steel ingots stolen plus other stuff, you might get 2 ingots from stash + 12 in the one slot of regular stash, plus the 2 slots of returned stuff might be idk 79 corn and a pair of boots.
Or if you had 40 sugar stolen, you might find 48 sugar in the bandit stash, plus the 2 slots of return items.

I agree that this is a trainwreck of an update. But bandit raids are another story, that has nothing to do with it.
Just let one bandit run away every time (how you manage that without him breaking and stealing stuff is your challenge). Next time, bandits will be weaker one level. Repeat until they are as weak as the first bandits you encountered at lvl 20 something. Spears, clubs, and no dynamite.

Level 21-23, won't have dynamite. If you cover with T3 shale wall. They just stop outside

Not sure if it's been brought up but you can weaken bandit attacks by letting at least 1 of them run away. The next attack will be done by weaker bandits

#

In my opinion, it's not worth to keep killing attackers and make them stronger and stronger. For me right now the bandits attacking my ranch are tier 1 while my outermost walls are all tier 2 so they can't even break walls, making the defense optional when I can't make it back on time

#

The tier 1 bandits still drop the map of my tier (tier 4 right now)
