Free dog after update

Some players have got a free dog after update. Is it for everyone? I have updated the game but can't find it, and have empty slots in my pet house.

my understanding is that the free dog is a T1 husky puppy issued to new players from December 2024 onwards - initially players could build a small 1 square size dog house for the puppy, and it would live there until they built a proper 4-square size pet house, then it would move in there .

Then most players would release it into the wild as it was very weak compared to regular pets, and when you only had a pet house capacity of 2, the puppy taking up 1 slot meant it took twice as long to complete Vernon's bait unlocking quests.

Now new players don't get the little dog house, and the puppy just hangs around until they get the pet house built, which can only be done after they build the stable as old road needs a horse now.

The thread creator is right. There are increasing reports in the global chat that after update 11.3, a few people suddenly have a puppy (a husky if the pet house is already built). Currently, 5 players between levels 70-110 received a Husky today.

I got the dog back and i had it before when i started and released it a long time ago. I didn't have it until i actually entered the ranch after update. Then a quest completion popped up "a new friend" which is the new quest for the naturalist in my alt acct. When you actually get to claim the puppy from the 1st mission.

Here is the quest on my 2nd lower lvl acct. But thats the quest that popped up complete and the dog was there following me around on my nain acct.

I have this but on my t5 bear unfortunately. My gator only has common 25%. Still trying for the 75%.

Welp, now we have a new suggestion: provide a way to trade at the smuggler for players! Both players would have to click an accept button once items are placed into a box.
Or implement an auction house like on WoW where things can be bid on!

they wont since it will ruin all the game and gaming experiance , what if a low lvl player trade with high lvl players and he will get all the high lvl stuff

Don't think they would ever do trades or gifting. Too many opportunity for abuse and begging is annoying.

But i still wamt to trade stud services or equal gender swaps for pets and horses of equal tier/rarity. Can you imagine i have like 5 t3 uncommon male bears and 3 t3 uncommon females. My stable is locked with 4 t5 common females and no way to purchase a male. I wish we could swap them somehow.

Been breeding bears for months now and haven’t got past t3 uncommon. I think the breeding system is broken
