I don't particularly like all the competition based skills in the wrangler track. Don't get me wrong, I would like those skills, especially probably after I open T7 and get everything there i might want to focus on competition.

Lower level players however, competition is really costly in terms of heals and armor and they add very little for immediate game progression. So it is expensive in terms of skills when they have to activate so many competition skills to get ones that enhance gameplay.

My proposal is make competition its own track. Make everything in wrangler for pets, horses and about animals on the map.

Add skills like less reactivity from wild animals, more spirit earlier on, increased chance of rss from killing animals. More skills for breeding and pets like the ones in Gentleman's suggestion https://discord.com/channels/464433442134687746/1464019350905290752

Competition based skills can be learned or earned in competition. They could enhance specific types of weapons or defense, not just specific targets like now. Or enhance specific attributes.

The ones for competition could be similar to the ones we have now for weapons but be specific to spirits. Since things like the hunters luck rink no longer work on spirit animals and a lot of weapons bonus work on specific targets.

Would take the current spirit related skills and move those as well. But could have skills for a bonus on each type of weapon, bows, melee, the different guns, against spirit types.

There spirits are all types too warriors, archers and shooters, animals and bosses. So there could be benefits on specific types or situations.

Protections against spirits either general defense or the ability to add %protection and dura loss against spirits. Or specific protection against certain types like bosses.

I know some of the ones like general dmg already exist. But because of their location behind early baits that I didn't get unlocked in the transition despite having those animals already i have few of the useful ones now.

Perhaps having more of those types of bonuses in smaller increment would make it possible to get something activated.

And to suit specific styles like I use a torch and bow for most of CT up to lvl 20 including the mob rounds and bosses. And i use the torch and warhammer in SC, pretty much up to the last few rounds. So going for melee or bow bonus for me would make sense.
