As an end game player, spending half of my playing time in t3 and t4 locations is getting very redundant and irritating to the point where I don't even feel like playing anymore.
I am sure I'm not the the only player that feels this way.
May I suggest like many others have suggested, cut down on the amount of iron needed to smelt ingots. Do not worry Devs, the players will still spend that sugar.
Or suggestion #2
How about a solar panel for the generator? The generator is just too time comsuming to fill up constantly.
Furthermore, coal is also needed to smelt ingots.
We all have to go back to the lower tier locations for whatever our reasons.
All I'm asking is to find a way that we don't have to live there.
Thankyou.

Did they HAVE solar panels in that age…?
Did they have bear's that fought as allies?
Thanks for the input.
And they sure as heck didn't use coal.
lol! What do you think the trains used on the railroads?!
This thread is about generators.
Why are going on about trains?
Seriously, go buy a ticket.
My point is simply that WS is a themed game so, the developers, as much as possible, try and stick to that theme
Geeze dude, we all noticed.
You enjoy spending all that time in t3 and t4 areas?
I left those areas ages ago
So, how do you run your generator? Smelt your t6/t7 ingots?
It gets done faster than you might think
People might keep the iron ore given by T6/T7 nodes and grab coal along the way too
As if.
I clear iron mine in less than 5 minutes with a bear , then farm the ore . It is super quick . And coal farming is pretty quick too between chromite mine and flooded plateau . Stop making such a big issue out of it . There must be a cost for high-tier ingots
I grab 100 t7 ore more or less every visit.
I have a life.
Thats my point.
You are confusing "easy" and "time" is 2 different things.
What is easy takes less time
I dont even know why you keep putting your 2 cents where its not wanted.
I also have a life ... but i manage my time to afford farming . And so should you . I don't see this changing anytime soon since many people suggested it before already
I disagree with you
How about this idea: higher tier pickaxe can increase the amount of ore you get from a drop. Normally you get 3 iron ore from one piece, but with t6 or t7 you get 5 or 6 or whatever the amount. And this can be applied to other types of ores as well. For example, it can also be applied to t6/t7 ore but ofc some balance is to be taken into account. With this, you can
-incentivise the usage of high tier tools because let's be honest, no one wastes t7 ore to craft pickaxe
-makes grinding lower tier resources less time consuming
-allows players to CHOOSE how they want to approach farming, as in faster gathering or more economical
Or another idea: the oil platform you open in t7 should provide an actual benefit besides the 500 energy/week it does now with two upgrades. It has potential fore something much more usefull, like passive 50 energy/h or smt like that.
Those are great suggestions and thank you.
My only dilemna with all that is I don't go to Rio to come back with inferior tier ressources.
A slight modification in the cost of running the generator or the amount of iron needed to smelt is reasonable.
I enjoy battling in Rio.
It's processing everything that get's redundant.

maybe a wind turbine with a battery would be a better project for our ranch than solar? they were first used for electricity in the 1880s so era appropriate, and they could generate a random amount of power within a certain range (so like, this day was windy, this day wasn't)
Great idea.
The first solar panel was invented in 1888 I believe...
My bad, 1883.
i think they weren't super efficient then and were more like "look it's possible!"? i read something years back when i was getting panels about how modern solar panels are based on tech from the 1940s?
some rich people were running their house lights on wind turbines in the late 1800s tho lol
They should replace horses with electric cars next update 🤑🤑
Well, we do have a car in silvertown
The first idea is not really applicable to the location, but to the pickaxe itself. Basically when you invest high tier resources in axe/pickaxe you get more back, and faster. You could take one suck pickaxe, lets say into iron mine, and be done with full backpack in 5-6 runs. Same with coal
I also disregard any low tier resources when farming rio because the space is that precious. I don't even think there is someone who collects low tier materials from high tier areas
I'll bring the iron back from hell's hollow 🤷🏽♀️
I take back roughly 5 slots of iron only because I can't bring the whole ranch to fight in H.H 😉 and fill my bag with t7 rss.
Maybeeee.....we can add some resources that contains 10 kw-h maybe a peat yeah that was great
Hmm
Solar panels would definitely be too much and wouldn’t really fit the game’s setting, but I understand the main issue, and I’ll pass the suggestions mentioned in the thread to my colleagues.
