Hey everyone! I just started playing the game this week and really enjoy the western atmosphere.
I wanted to ask whether there are good guides for beginners, since I haven't really found a good writeup which is common in other games. All I found so far are short YouTube videos with subtitles.
Are there guides written up or good educational YouTube channels in this game?

Don't think there are good beginner guide for this game, but there are some event guides on Youtube. Just ask in #🤠cowboy-chat if you have any questions, they will be answered whenever other players are online.

You can read the game guide on "Westland hub" for extra information... But like icefury said the best place to get tips, tricks and help is here on discord... You just have to ask...

That is missed opportunity. Because new players don't know what questions to ask. Asking good questions takes prior knowledge.
It would take an experienced player or mod 2-3 hours to write up the basic DOs and DONTs to get someone started in this game. I'm sure it was done before, but was buried because of the lack of structure in #1097536099343147090
If the game wants to develop and get new players, especially on steam, the mods should really make information for beginners more available and accessible.

Basic wiki is there in game setting, rest everyone have there playstyle, rest basic info u will keep on getting if u casually go through/ask in the chat
