Well kind of more like alliance bosses/dungeons, basically a place where all alliance members can participate to get alliance materials and normal loot
Scaling:
You can only use items of the same tier as the weakest alliance member in your group (also applies to pets and medicine), the end reward and boss/mob tier would be of one tier higher
Boss:
Every 46 hours, a boss event can be bought with a shared gold pool (if it costs 50, every participating member of the event would pay a equal share, so if 2 people bought it, each would pay 25 and both would be able to fight it
It works as a buffed normal boss with altered attacks and phases
Possible altered attacks and phases (lol):
Sacrifical totems:
- A totem spawns for each member in the team (5 totems if 5 people, 2 totems if 2 people), with hp scaled for the item tier that the players use, if not killed in time, the boss heals 10% of it's max hp for every totem still alive
Spirit Spear:
- Spears trail each player from the ground, dealing damage (similar to the spirit cave boss lighting attacks)
Ancestral Beams:
- 5 large beams shoot out from the mob, spinning around it dealing damage to everything in their path, lasts like 8 seconds
Rage:
- the boss enters a rage state, increasing it's damage and movement speed by 5% every time it gets damaged (stacks infinitely), lasts 10 seconds (basically a don't hit it or die attack)
Cripple:
- The boss does a large aoe attack that cripples each player making them 40% slower by 5 seconds
Possible phase changes:
- Arena shrinks
- Boss grows in size and deals more damage
- Boss speeds up
- Mobs start spawning
- Damaging attacks trail players
Dungeons and how they could work:
- Basically copy the old spirit cave, make different rooms, each with a different layout and boss, make it fun
Every player is in the map at the same time, this could cause desync issues making it very unstable, but i believe in the developer power
and it can make more of this game actually multiplayer, aswell as making alliances more usefull
